Council of “Rīgas satiksme” to attract two temporary Board members
Today, February 12, 25 pupils came to “Rīgas satiksme” to become better familiar with the daily work of various professionals. For the first time, they could shadow also the chairman and members of the company’s Board.
The Day of Shadows started at the administration building with a presentation telling about the company and interactive games to familiarize pupils with the company’s daily life of and check their erudition. After that, the pupils started to get familiar with the daily work of their selected professions.
“Rīgas satiksme” thanks every pupil who showed interest for the company and its daily operation. The company participates in the events of the Day of Shadows for nine years in a row, with pupils being most interested in the work of public transport drivers and ticket inspectors.
This year pupils also could shadow an electric network controller, an electric network equipment engineer, the acting security and control director and a public relations expert.
